With a total of more than 30.000 flight hours as pilot, captain, trainer and type rating instructor for international airlines (LTU, Air Berlin, SunExpress, EasyJet) I use my extensive experience in aviation to advise projects in the field of Air Traffic Management and Ground Operation. The focus of these projects is on sustainable solutions, innovative and AI-based technologies, autonomous maneuvering of aircraft and fully automated processes at airports.

My new position as project manager for “AeM-Speedport” enables me to realize significant transformations in the aviation industry together with two top-class project partners: ADB Safegate and Mototok. In the first phase of the project, aircraft at Paderborn Airport will soon be maneuvered fully autonomously and without engine power from the parking position toward the runway and, after landing, to the gate. The project will turn the airport into an innovative real-life laboratory for cutting-edge technology. This approach leads to improved airport performance for all stakeholders involved - airlines, ground service providers, and air traffic control.
